Work Experience & Trainee Opportunities
West Yorkshire Playhouse is committed to the development of learning opportunities for young people keen to develop a career in the creative industries. Thanks to funding from The Creative & Cultural Skills Council and Leeds City Council, we are able to offer a range of six-month paid internships and year-long accredited apprenticeships in back stage, production, administrative, marketing, education and community roles. Internships are advertised through Job Centre Plus and apprenticeships though the national apprenticeship hub.
You can find our latest vacancies on our jobs pages (including internships and apprenticeships)
If you are an actor or director we have a range of schemes that may be of interest to you; you will find details in our Artist Development section.
