- Head of HR and Learning
We are recruiting for a Head of HR and Learning to lead our HR&L Department with the support of an HR Officer.
The jobholder will be expected to contribute at both a strategic and operational level, they will be responsible for providing a high quality, effective and responsive HR&L service to the organisation. We are currently developing plans for a major capital development project that will transform the theatre, the project will begin in Spring 2018, which makes it a very exciting time to be joining the Playhouse.
The HR&L function encompasses People Strategy, Employee Engagement, Change Management, Learning, Reward, Recruitment, People Policies and People Data.
The jobholder will provide expert professional advice and support to managers and staff on all aspects of people management, current employment legislation and best practice. The jobholder will work closely with departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
We are looking for individuals with at least 5 years’ experience in a junior management HR role. Experience of theatre or the Arts would be an advantage but is not essential. Full and part time working will both be considered. No agencies please.
