We invite you to join us for Sunday Dinner. An afternoon of ideas, food and music amongst excellent company.

Featuring live music by folk band Hunting Bears and thoughtful contributions from our speakers offering their take on the subject 'My Leeds, My City', along with a three course dinner which features the very best of Yorkshire food.

 The £20 ticket (£10 for under 12's) includes a three course meal followed by coffee.  There will be drinks available to purchase from the bar.

Guest speakers include

Leeds longest serving lawyer, Ronnie Teeman, former Civic Architect John Thorpe, award winning author of 'Urban Grimshaw and the Shed Crew' Bernard Hare, Abby Dix-Mason of Leeds Inspired, and Rheima Mimz Ibrahim from Leeds Young Authors and film 'We are Poets'

STARTER

Mini steak pie-

Tender braised beef cooked in Timothy Taylor bitter, served with pea puree

OR

Spring root vegetable soup

Served with wholegrain bread

 

MAIN COURSE

Lamb shank

Slowly cooked local lamb withWakefieldred cabbage and dauphinOisepotatoes

OR

Root vegetable timbale

Oven baked red pepper, courgette, aubergine and red onion served with dressed rocket. Served with Dauphin Oise potatoes

Jam Roly poly and custard

    Im an actor from the Capilano Musical Theatre program. I just now came arcoss your site and while I commend you on your effort to inform the public on the musicals in Vancouver, you sir have missed several shows.The Threepenny Opera: A rarely done musical but stunning production design and standout performers Exit 22 at Capilano UniversityBye Bye Birdie. Also fantastic production designs as well as a fun and talented actors at Studio 58 at Langara CollegeReefer Madness, by a small local company. Small yet packed with talent , at the PAL theatre I see nothing on here.Flower Drum Song, an older, dated but gem of musical theatre history by Rodgers and Hammerstein produced by Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre which ran for 3 weeks in may/juneTitanic: musical in concert by Applause. A beautiful and haunting show that had a short 4 day run in may. NothingMaybe its time you had a few more people working with you to ensure you actually cover everything in Vancouver. I suggest getting in contact with the Ovation Award committee which I also sit on, local awards for the musical theatre companies. Please contact me and I will gladly get you a ticket for reviewing the evening.

    In all honesty the neck on this Pro Jet is heavy and hard to play corpemad to say my prefered les paul. This also has mini humbuckers and I prefer normal humbuckers, such as seymore duncan sh1 or sh5 (PAF type) this would get you closer to the sound you hear in this video, on which I used Eq and a wha pedal on full.
