First Floor

Young people's or arts organisations can hire space at First Floor, for appropriate projects or events, subject to availability.

First Floor is right in the city centre and forms part of 6 St Peter's Building, which is next to Yorkshire Dance, opposite the BBC building and just across the road from the Bus Station.

Spaces which can be hired are:

Spacious Performing Arts Studio (approx 150m2), which can be divided into two smaller studios by soundproof, white board partitioning. (NB This studio is not suitable for dance). Sub-divided Studios can be hired separately.

Visual Arts Studio (approx 44m2), which has lots of natural light and has its own sink and sump.

Other facilities include Green Room; Kitchenette with microwave, fridge and hot water dispenser; WC and changing facilities, including 'silver standard' accessible toilet with hoist. Access to First Floor is via buzzer entry system at street level. Accompanied lift access available.
