Thank you for taking time to consider making a donation to the work of the Playhouse.
We are very proud that not only do we produce stunning, life-affirming and powerful theatre, we also make sure that theatre is open to as many people as possible.
Whether that is through access and relaxed performances, enabling people with disabilities to enjoy our shows, or our educational packs, which allow school children to delve deeper into the works we put on, or through Heydays, our club for people over 55 to come into the theatre each week, to socialise, engage in craft projects and meet with the casts from our shows, we are ensuring that our theatre is available to everyone.
You can help make that happen by making a donation. You can contact our Development Manager, Kate Jeeves, on 0113 213 7800 call our Box Office, or donate online.
A donation of just £200 helping us provide craft materials for one group of our Heydays members. And a gift of £500 would allow a school to bring one of their classes for a day to the theatre, to learn how things work backstage and get chance to engage in workshops in skills they can pursue when they leave school.
Ideally we would encourage you to give a regular monthly sum to help us plan better how to use your gift most effectively. A donation as small as £5 each month would help us provide a seat for the carer of someone with a disability for up to four shows each year. Just £10 each month would cover the close-contact costs for one child for a week in our First Floor project.
However much you give, you can do so in the knowledge that your donation will make sure that you have helped make sure that stunning, life-affirming and powerful theatre will carry on in Leeds, and that it will be accessible to everyone who would like to see it, irrespective of any challenge they face in life.
