Storymakers

Storymakersis an early year's project encouraging children to become story tellers and share their stories with others.  A parcel containing a prop arrives in school and then the magic of the story begins.  This project will be relaunched summer 2012.

Imaginary Worlds

Imaginary Worlds encouraged young children to explore, be curious and learn about the world around them through their play experiences.  Using simple props in bag children made up and told their unique stories.

If you would like to find out more about this project we have a beautiful Resource Pack available, please contact Lisa Parrott on 0113 213 7290 or lisa.parrott@wyp.org.uk Cost £8 plus postage and packaging

At the Playhouse

We offer a wide variety of workshops for children to engage and be inspired. One week a month we run half day workshops for Primary children, these are fun, creative and educational and include themes such as Puppet Making, Scriptwriting and Going to the Circus as well as weeks linked to our productions of Annie and Jack an the Beanstalk.

We also offer enrichment days and bespoke workshops that can be based around our shows or a theme being explored in school.
