WYP Primary Players
Throughout the Summer term West Yorkshire Playhouse worked with over 130 young people aged 7-11 from primary schools across Leeds to create their inaugural Primary Players: Shakespeare Festival 2014.
This project actively supported the teaching, learning, cross-curricula integration and performance of Shakespeare at Primary Level culminating in a large-scale collaborative public performance on the Quarry stage which saw Shakespeare's The Tempest and Twelfth Night brought together. All participating students achieved their Shakespeare Challenge Discover or Explore Arts Award through the project this year.
Registrations are now open to take part in Primary Players: Shakespeare Festival 2015. For more information or to register your school contact Elvi Piper (Creative Education Coordinator)firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0113 213 7290
