Creative Education Week

Once a month the Creative Education team run a Creative Education Week when schools are invited to bring a group of children to the Playhouse for a half-day session of themed creative activities.

Creative Education Week Sessions

Bring your class to a 2 hour Creative Education practical workshop at West Yorkshire Playhouse, 10am-12noon or 1pm-3pm. Please see details below of the sessions on offer for October 2011 to March 2012.

CPD sessions for teachers

To prepare you for the children's workshop we offer twilight sessions at West Yorkshire Playhouse which run from 4pm to 5pm. The CPD sessions are an opportunity to share creative ideas and explore how these may be used in conjunction with the wider curriculum

Prices

For £180 you can bring a class of up to 30 children to a Creative Education workshop AND book three members of staff from your school onto the CPD session.

If you do not intend to bring your class but are still interested in attending any of the CPD sessions, please contact us to book your place for just £17.

At the Playhouse

We offer a wide variety of workshops for children to engage and be inspired. One week a month we run half day workshops for Primary children, these are fun, creative and educational and include themes such as Puppet Making, Scriptwriting and Going to the Circus as well as weeks linked to our productions of Annie and Jack an the Beanstalk.

We also offer enrichment days and bespoke workshops that can be based around our shows or a theme being explored in school.
