What is the Playhouse Youth Theatre? 
The Playhouse Youth Theatre aims to open up and open out the expertise and resources of the theatre by engaging young people in creative opportunities through the production of high quality performance work.
Through the collaborative process of making theatre by young people for young people, the Youth Theatre will produce work that responds to the lives of the participants and recognises their talents. The Youth Theatre is committed to raising aspirations whilst developing skills, knowledge and understanding of young peoples' experiences of making theatre.

What we do:
- Devise high quality performance work which gives young people a voice and recognises their talent and creative potential.
- Create performances of classic and contemporary theatre which draws on the artistic excellence and professional standards of the Playhouse
- Offer young people creative and cultural experiences that will enrich their lives and the lives of their families.

| Thursday | 5 - 6.30pm | 10 to 13 year olds |
| Thursday | 7 - 9pm | 17 to 19 year olds |
| Saturday | 9.30 - 11am | 10 to 13 year olds |
| Saturday | 11.30am - 1.30pm | 14 to 16 year olds |
