Under26 Free Tickets

Anyone under 26 is entitled to 3 tickets for free at West Yorkshire Playhouse from Monday - Thursday. Free tickets are available on most shows but are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. 

After you've used your 3 free tickets you'll be entitled to FIVE tickets at the price of five pounds each, and then a further ten tickets at ten pounds each. You must still be under the age of 26 to book the £5 and £10 tickets and provide ID or a membership card on ticket collection.

HOW TO BOOK

You need to register on the scheme by completing the Registration Form  and be sent a membership card, which you can use instead of ID when collecting your tickets.

You can book your tickets by calling the Box Office on 0113 213 7700, unfortunately you can't book these seats online. You can use your tickets to book three seats for one show, one seat at three different shows, or anything in between. If you want to book more than 3 seats per booking you'll be able to but you'll have to pay full price for the extra or use your 5 for a fiver allocation. Free Tickets are available for sale up to an hour before the performance starts.

Acceptable ID must be presented by each person when collecting tickets. Membership cards can be collected from Box Office with proof of ID on your first visit.

If you cannot collect your tickets or attend the performance for any reason please let Box Office know as soon as possible. If you fail to collect tickets or cancel them in advance, then they will still count towards your ticket allocation on the scheme.

Passport
Driving Licence
Young Person's Railcard
Birth Certificate

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tickets are limited and therefore subject to availability. Not available on tickets already reserved or purchased. Tickets can be booked in advance, but must be collected in person on the evening of the performance. Tickets must be collected at least 30 MINUTES before the start of the performance. Acceptable ID must be presented by each person when collecting tickets. If no ID is presented, admission can be refused. Tickets are not transferable. Up to 3 free tickets can be booked by one person providing each ticket is for an Under 26 year old and ID is presented by each person. Other tickets booked will be charged at the applicable rate.

At the Playhouse

The Playhouse provides one of the country's most comprehensive arts education programmes alongside performances that engage and excite young people.  First Floor, a new space dedicated to working with anyone aged 11 to 19, or 14 to 25 with a learning disability, was opened in January 2009, and its eclectic range of activities and projects continue to attact young people to try something new or develop their skills with different music, drama and art activities on offer in fully accessible, light and airy studios on Quarry Hill.promo_wyp_night.jpg
A number of tickets are available for performances at no cost  as part of the Under26 Scheme, and young people can help spread the word about how great theatre and the arts can be by signing up as a Young Ambassador.
