They survive on their ‘refreshment capital’, living at the end of the beach amongst driftwood, fallen coconut trees and empty rum bottles. And as Professor ‘speechifies’ about his life, one that’s been lost and stolen, Slim tries to grasp a brighter future.

Rum and Coca Cola is a gently humorous, bittersweet tale written by one of our finest dramatists, Mustapha Matura.

It is the directorial debut of Trinidadian born Don Warrington MBE, best known for playing Philip in Rising Damp, and for his roles in Doctor Who, Manchild and The Crouches.
