A participatory theatre event for 9 to 12 year olds.
Displace is a piece of story-telling inspired by the experiences of asylum seekers and refugees in Leeds. Originally presented in Leeds schools for children aged eight and nine these will be its first public performances.
Told with puppets, objects and live music, Displace allows children to think about leaving home and being a newcomer, it explores what it means to leave your home, sometimes quickly, without saying goodbye to friends and arriving without warning in a new country.
