| first floor A new creative space for young people in leeds First Floor is West Yorkshire Playhouse’s place where young people between the ages of 11 (at Secondary School) and 19 can take part in creative activites.

We hope to be joined by our Patron Jack P Shepherd (schedule permitting) who plays David Platt in Coronation Street. Everyone welcome! Saturday Sessions Every Saturday from 23 January 2010 to Easter. No need to book in advance.
Projects: February Half Term Come and spend a day on your favourite artform. You will need to bring a packed lunch. Cost: £2 per day Art Tuesday 16 February, 10.00am – 3.00pm Get creative in this visual art workshop using museum collections and personal objects for inspiration. Drama Thursday 18 February, 10.00am – 3.00pm Fuse Action and drama to create a piece of theatre in one day. Music Friday 19 February, 10.00am – 3.00pm Always wanted to write a song? This is your chance to learn how with our crash course. By the end of the day you will have written, rehearsed and recorded your hit! Numbers are limited, so make sure you book the days you want to attend. Breeze Arts Foundation 14 January to 1 April, Thursdays and Fridays, 10.00am – 3.00pm 15 to 19yrs This course is open to anyone not attending regular education, training or employment. Learn performance skills, find out about different jobs in the theatre, create your own performance and gain Arts Award accreditation. |
