Who can come on a work experience placement?
Work Experience placements are available to Year 10 & 11 students.

We also offer University students longer term placements, please get in touch to find out more.

How long is the placement?
The placement is for one week only. Due to the heavy demand we have for placements we try to accommodate as many students as possible.

WHAT WILL THE PLACEMENT CONSIST OF?
It is a general administration placement based in Arts Development. A typical week may consist of helping with planning and preparation of projects, assisting in leading backstage tours for a school or community group; assisting on the Heydays project (an arts activity project for the over 55’s), watching a matinee performance and a visit to our Costume Hire department.

How & when to apply

We recommend you book your placement early as we are usually booked up 9 months in advance. If you are looking for a work experience placement between September and May, please send a letter of introduction about yourself which school or college you attend, your interests and the dates you would like to have a placement.
