Creative Education
Creative Education Week
Once a month the Creative Education team run a Creative Education
Week when schools are invited to bring a group of children to the Playhouse
for a half-day session of themed creative activities.
Creative Education Week Sessions
Please see below for a list of the sessions on offer this season. Teachers can bring a class to a session at the Playhouse, either 10.00am – 12 noon or 1pm – 3pm. All sessions are £5 per child.
CPD Sessions for Teachers
To prepare you for the children’s session we explore creative ideas by offering twilight sessions at the West Yorkshire Playhouse for teachers. These run from 4pm – 5pm and take place at West Yorkshire Playhouse. These sessions are also a useful tool for teachers not intending to bring children. £17 per teacher, per session.
Your Feedback
What workshops would you like the Playhouse to offer your children? We are now planning sessions for the Spring 2011 term and your input would be valuable. Contact Lisa Parrott, Creative Education Manager at lisa.parrott@wyp.org.uk or 0113 213 7290 to have a chat about ideas.
