About Us

West Yorkshire Playhouse is a busy theatre complex housing two auditoria, three meeting rooms, a fully licensed bar and restaurant and a small art gallery. Located in Leeds City Centre within walking distance of the railway station and with public car parks in close proximity, the Playhouse is the ideal location for both small meetings and large events.

If you are looking for a large venue in Leeds, then look no further. Our two
auditoria are available to hire for conferences and seminars throughout the
day and both auditoria have state of the art sound and lighting facilities
and projection equipment.

From the moment you make your initial enquiry to the end of your event,
our experienced, dedicated events team will assist you with every detail.
The Playhouse can offer a variety of unique possibilities for a small or large
conference, with a spacious, bright restaurant and bar area available as
a breakout space. Whatever your event, it can be supported with catering
facilities and a full range of technical equipment. Our conference rooms are
fully accessible for people with mobility difficulties and there is unlimited
internet access in every room.
