I grew up in Beeston, on top of the hill that looks out over Holbeck and the city – I went to school in Holbeck and have also worked there with South Leeds Youth Theatre in the years since. I’ve always felt sorry for Holbeck ......

Tuesday, 11th October, seemed like the first day, although we arrived on Monday bleary eyed, from all over the country. I left Edinburgh at 6.25 am. Dawn didn’t break until Newcastle, which meant that I didn’t see the amazing coast…...

There are two parts of Original Bearings. There is the performance which happens on the 14th and 15th at 730 or 930 which you can buy tickets for (although you should hurry as there’s only a couple left). That’s great…....

This week is Furnace week, and it’s all go both from Quarry Hill and over in Holbeck. Slung Low have been working from the HUB for the last couple of weeks making ‘Original Bearings’. For-sale signs have been popping up…...
